"The section of Cramer Hill along the Back Channel of the Delaware between 29th St. and 36th St. may be the site of a new urban State Park. It includes the old sewer treatment plant which has been restored with a tidal pond. 36th St. is the boundary with Pennsauken, and is where a bridge connects to Petty Island. Our vision for the Camden Greenway includes connections into Pennsauken and Pettys Island."

"The Newton Creek portion of the greenway is full of diverse and beautiful wetlands. The City, County and State own most of the waterfront land along Newton Creek, but a continuous multi-purpose trail is not yet in place. This portion of the greenway will eventually connect with the Newton Creek trail in Collingswood, then turn north through Knight Park and along Browning Road to connect with the Cooper River Lake Park. The park links with the Cooper River greenway in Camden on the west side of Route 130."

"These photos show portions of the Cooper River greenway in Camden. It extends from Cooper River Lake at Route 130 to Wiggins Park on the Camden waterfront next to the Aquarium. Portions of this system are in place. We have just submitted an application to the NJ Green Acres Trust to acquire eight privately-held parcels that provide important links in the Cooper River system. The
Phase I bike loop
is useable now, but will be improved with signs, street crossings and other amenities over the next few years."
